an intimate mackinac island affair
If every couple can just go ahead and elope to Mackinac Island and get married on a beautiful foggy day like Amelia and Billy did, that would be wonderful. Have you ever seen a wedding more perfect than this one?! From the gorgeous single rose that Amelia carried down the aisle, to capturing images just like her grandparents did in the gazebo at the ceremony site, to the amazing carriage ride around the island to grab images of these two, every single moment was literal perfection (and don't get me started on the delicious lunch to boot!). When these two were walking around in their sunglasses, I saw people stopping and thinking they were celebrities because they're just too dang perfect. The amazing part of elopement weddings is that you get to spend your day with the ones you want to spend your day with most, and it makes for some truly beautiful candid images. This wedding resulted in some of the most gorgeous images of Amelia and Billy's families with the kiddos that got to come and celebrate with them. The only thing I would have changed for these two was that the fog would have lifted so we could have gotten some of the gorgeous lake shots Amelia wanted; I guess we're all just going to have to go back for a vow renewal soon!
