Baby Lucy doesn't know how truly lucky she is: her parents are just the absolute best (and she has a pretty fantastic fur sister as well!). Ang and Ryan are one of my wedding couples and also friends and I couldn't have been more happy to hear when these two were expecting! I know that I say a lot that a type of session is my favorite, but after becoming a mom, I think that in-home newborn sessions and in-home lifestyle sessions with kids really just have one of the most special places in my heart. I know how rare it is, especially for us moms, to capture ourselves in memories with our kids since we're usually the ones behind the camera. So no matter what your house looks like or the projects that have been on hold, no matter if you put on a few extra pounds (understandably after dealing with these snack monsters who literally survive because of us!), take the photos. Book the session. I promise you won't regret it.
