Howell Opera House Engagement
There's nothing that gets me more excited than an old dilapated building that has peeks of it's original beauty that I can use for an engagement session. Not only do buildings like this make me wish I was a millionaire so I could buy them and restore them to their former glory, they also make me want to capture beautiful love stories in their spaces to remind people that while places might run down, the beauty of you and your love is everlasting. Rochelle and Josh reached out to me wanting a unique location for their engagement pictures and the Howell Opera House did not disappoint. With it's stunning stage and old brick and plaster, this location is just dying to come to life (they're currently trying to get enough money to restore this awesome spot by doing rentals!). From an old run down opera house to Kensington Park in Brighton, we had a blast capturing these images that showcase the love that these two have for each other and their fun personalities.
Rochelle and Josh are absolute sweethearts and while COVID may have shifted their wedding plans from this month to December instead, I know that fate has it's hand in that change to make sure that Rochelle gets the wintery wedding of her dreams. We're putting in a special request for lots of snow on the ground for her :-)! While I'm waiting for their wedding which I know is going to be drop-dead gorgeous at the amazing venue, Baker Lofts in Holland, I'm just going to reminisce on one of my favorite engagement sessions of 2020!
