Shifting sands

I got to work with Bri and Joey this past summer to capture some beautiful images of this couple on the Sand Dunes at Silver Lake in Mears Michigan. I was six months pregnant for this session and hauling my pregnant butt up the sand dunes was something else, but I'm so happy that I did to capture the love between these two. This was Adelaide's official first journey to the sand dunes (albeit inside of me) but I have a feeling that we're going to be making many trips back in the future! I actually grew up going to the dunes almost every weekend in the summer with my family- we drove the dunes in a beat up old Chevy truck with seats bolted in the bed of the truck and I seriously couldn't have asked for a more fun trip as a kid. Every time I head back to the dunes brings back those memories and they just make me smile. I hope these pictures of Bri and Joey make you smile as much as they make me smile!
